    [ARM]Closed: Re: Enc28j60 with stm32f4

Have a look at the demo code on the Microchip site. While that is written for the PIC families of devices, they are in C and the communication between the MCU and the ENC28J60 is via an SPI interface...

    [ARM]Closed: Re: Enc28j60 with stm32f4

Don't forget that the ENC27J60 provides just the bottom layers of the IP stack. You still need to provide the upper layers where things such as web pages, HTML code etc. are defined.

  3. [SOLVED]Closed: Re: dsPIC33F I2C" Start hold time violated"fuse configs

General comment: if you use a simulator then you have just added another layer of potential bugs to your project.
Especially for the sort of thing you are doing, I would recommend that you use the...

Also, if you are starting off a new project, then why use that MCU - there are more modern, powerful and cheaper devices available.

Glad you have solved it, but that error message (or one very like it) can also occur when an error is detected within library code where only the object library has been linked in. Such library code...

  7. Closed: Re: XC8 C delays for PIC micros not right timing

The max value for the delay macro is in the XC8 user guide.
The delay is also affected by interrupts.
Have you set the correct value of _XTAL_FREQ?
You have not told us the clock source (or...
  8. Closed: Re: pic16f877a + spi + 93LC46A-I/OT EEPROM

OK - I had not seen that. Thanks for pointing it out.
AN1023 (linked from the EEPROMs data sheet page you linked to) certainly shows the MSSP module being used. What it also shows is that the EEPROM...
  9. Closed: Re: pic16f877a + spi + 93LC46A-I/OT EEPROM

The EEPROM says that it is "microwire compatible" and while mirowire and SPI are related, they are NOT the same.
You haev two choices: 1) use a newer EEPROM that has a standard SPI or I2C interface...
  10. [SOLVED]Closed: Re: ADC reading , Timer interrupt - dspic33ch128mp508

You should not need to set the GIE bit to 1 as that is its Power-on default setting.\
Look at the ADC FRM section for that MCU - it has a whole section of examples.

  11. Closed: Re: dsPIC30F2010 - 30 I/SP restarts at interval of 20seconds for no known reason

The answer, as so often happens, is in the data sheet. The last paragraph of Section 19.4.2 says that, if you turn off the config bit, then the WDT is controlled by software with the SWDTEN bit. Make...

Also be aware that strings in most compilers are null terminated which mean that "1234" is actually 5 characters long.

If all you are interested in is if a voltage is above or below a given value, then use a comparator and a stable voltage source (e.g. a zener or you want something cheap and nasty). T

  16. Closed: Re: Help with PIC16F886 0-55VDC Voltmeter (code adapted fm Arduino)

I had assumed it was an attempt to round to the nearest 10mV. Anyway that would not really make much difference - given the domain of 0V to 55V in a 10-bit ADC, the LSB equates to just over 5mV....
  17. Closed: Re: Help with PIC16F886 0-55VDC Voltmeter (code adapted fm Arduino)

@mcmsat13 - your code might be working but what is the point of the 2nd and 3rd 'delay_ms(1)' statements on either side of the calculation of 'vout'?
I can understand the delay after selecting the...
  18. Closed: Re: Help with PIC16F886 0-55VDC Voltmeter (code adapted fm Arduino)

As far as I know the 'delay_xxx' functions ARE blocking but so is the code that @mcmsat13 asked about in Post #11 (and you quoted).
They are also unreliable in terms of accuracy as they don't take...
  19. Closed: Re: Help with PIC16F886 0-55VDC Voltmeter (code adapted fm Arduino)

The alternative is to start by understanding what the code is doing - in this case it is providing a delay for a given period of time.
