A very quick blinking red light. It wasn't a glow as you say. I'm not sure why.

I've tried viewing ir led before with my iPhone 6. I could not view it with forward facing camera. I believe it has a filter. I could see it with backward facing camera.

The screen is also getting more difficult to see in daytime. I guess this is also and associated problem with the phosphor screen. We have made a makeshift shield extension which makes the screen...

You say that you will be entering the coordinates. If that's the case you could have a CNC machine type setup. You could use a much smaller electromagnetic also.

When the shrimp come to the light the fish that eat them won't be far behind. Caught many a speckled trout under the lights of oil platforms.

Have you researched lysimeters? Since your only concern is one tree it might be a practical solution.

I guess you would prefer a thermally conductive foam. Not sure but it seems to me that a thermally insulating foam could be counter productive.

Yes , I think there are some gains to be had by placing panels horizontal. What i wonder about is that the shade will then effect a larger portion of the panels. Suppose you have even shading across...
  15. Closed: Re: PV panel oriantation vs horizon shading in winter

It doesn't matter whether the panel is vertical or horizontal. I guess your talking about the same panels from your previous thread. I'm not and expert but I agree that you would be better off laying...

I'm not sure if all transformer are alike. Sometimes there is a thermal fuse that is built in to the transformer. I found this in a bad transformer that I was trying to salvage the copper.
