it appears to be T = tape. The package standard. The tape winds around a reel. Further, to positioner at soldering automat. It has nothing to do with electronic features of IC. :bang:
    It uses when...

    Hello everyone,

I've noticed that MAX485CSA appeared on the market with additional characters situated just after CSA. Like MAX485CSA+, MAX485CSA+T

CSA -it's clear from MAX485 manual. That...

The master really doesn't know any protocols, except mentioned above the most common ASC protocol. That's fully in line what I have in practice, on the bench.

May I ask, you figured that...
  4. Closed: Re: UART-->RS485 (transmission is finished and it may respond)

Acynchronous Serial Communication is called (in the same WIKI) as a most common protocol in use.

    Lets see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RS-485

OK, then it's usual acynchronous serial protocol.

Default: 9600 baud rate, 8 data bits, even parity, 1 start, 1 stop bit.
  6. Closed: Re: UART-->RS485 (transmission is finished and it may respond)

As I wrote above, the Master is set to so-called 'transparent' protocol. The Slave doesn't know any known industrial protocols like Modbus, etc.
The slave just executes commands which are programmed...

Bingo! You are right. I think I have to purchase an oscilloscope (it is final straw).:-)

This is a new install. Consider that as an experiment within a project.

    Well,
    Half-Duplex...

I'm afraid, you are wrong. Many industrial devices communicate with each other and they are even not aware, that there are protocols at all, especially industrial.

    Firmware --> UART-->RS485.

    Hello everyone,

Roughly, it may say that getting of distorted, unreadable Chars, as a variant of course, is a result of some kind of cutting, either it is start bit or stop bit, while transmission...

    ОК,
What does this bit stand for? Could you tell me?
  11. Closed: UART-->RS485 (transmission is finished and it may respond)

    Hello everyone,
    hope right branch I've chosen.

    UART --> RS485 interface:
Could anyone explain me which way the slave knows that transmission is finished and it may respond to the Master?

it's just a control for inputs Transmit (Enable) TTL '1', Receive (Enable) TTL '0'.
  13. Closed: What role does an element play(shematic question)?

    Hello everyone,
Could anyone shed the light on what role does an element play in this particular case. A picture attached.
    I mean shottky diode (SB150).

    Thank you.

polarity reverse: it's clear, it kills aluminium ones too.
Mostly I'm interested in, for example, aluminium comprise electrolyte loosing its features over the years. What about tantalum ones. Do...

    I've seen.
SMD tantalum capacitors, do they die same way over the years as usual polar electrolytic ones? Your opinion please?

That's nice you helped to recognize capacitance.
What about type? Are there any thoughts?

    hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and honestly saying I didn't find here an appopriate branch for my question.
    So I've chosen this one.

    Well,
I need to know all characteristics of...
