  1. Closed: Re: How can I tell if my laptop screen is LED or LCD?

Backlighted displays, whether CCFL or LED back light when viewed in a darkened room with a flat black screen, will have some light leakage.

To determine whether it is CCFL or LED, you would have...

For warning lights the actual duty cycle does not require to be precise, as long as the repetition rate is adequate.

Do you realize that in your schematic R47 is only connected between supply and ground, and not doing anything?
The rest of the circuit itself is similarly convoluted.

  6. Closed: Re: 3 phase 4 wire(480V) AC to 12VDC (100mA) power supply for energy metering applica

Most likely it is a line to line voltage, where the line to neutral voltage will be 277 volt AC. These transformers or SMPS are more readily available, at least on this side of the pond.

At least a schottky to decouple the RTC supply from the remaining loads.

The caps should be on cathode side such that they will decouple the RTC.

In your properties list, you include the following:

This means a transformer requires to be used.
    Transformer switchmode topologies include...

For starters: What is the DC input voltage range?

Most modern micros are capable enough to implement a switchmode topology without requiring a LM2576. But you will definitively require an external...
  13. Closed: Re: ADC simultaneous sampling of 4 channels

As others have mentioned, a quadruple sample and hold, followed by the sequential A/D conversion, would meet the requirement of simultaneous sampling.

The key is that your initial conditions or reference to be at -0.1 instead of 0 volts.

  18. Closed: Re: Offline flyback SMPS with bigger core generally has less transformer loss

As anyone who has designed a transformer, the transformer losses are the sum of copper and core losses.
