Data rate calculation

I want to know the relation between data rate & bandwidth for QAM, Coherent and non coherent PSK, FSK.
Thank you

Re: Data rate calculation

I am not very sure about this but as far as I know,

if ur using a 16-QAM => 16= 2^4 so 4 bits per symbol. and ur symbol rate = baud rate.

If N bits are conveyed per symbol, and the raw bit rate is R(data+ channel coding bits) the symbol rate can be calculated as:

f_s = R / N.

I dont know about PSK. look into Communication System by Simon Haykins

Re: Data rate calculation

I mean data rate .
thank you
