w3100a avr

wiznet IIM7010A comes with a lot many examoles and source code.
they are available on there web site and can be directly compiled on keil c51 environment.
let me know if u need more help.

You can find s/w for assign IP address and check module or change firmware (I tried that with my module).

I just view these websites,I need more informations about this module,
this web side **broken link removed** find the file
Loopback.zip, Dose it is the software on PC side to test the W3100A?.
, How can i define the IP of W3100A?....and, what code we get on data bus
(D7-D0)...Do we need to transfer the code that we really want!!...

You can connect 7010A module to uC in two ways: I2C or 8-bit bus. Here are examples:

And yes, there is s/w for PC. Using this you can assign IP address to module or flash firmware. Module is compact, all-in-one solution for ethernet connection (Ip stack, ethernet controller,RJ-45 jack with transformers). All you have to do is send data on bus and that's it.

Everything you need are on those links (and links posted before). Just read information on those pages.

w3100a project

Hi meax98 & hock:
meax98 u suggestion that avrcard is a interface with IIM7010A,
i have a problem.if i want to program the interface with FPGA,
Is Loopback.zip file useful? and i am surprised that the IP of W3100A
is setuped by software?.....but there are some registers in W3100A
about the IP address.
Do you have any informations about how to setup IP with W3100A?
i need more informations to know how the structure(W3100A) act!
thanks for ur help ....i'll try hard on this project!

I was using two modules: 7100 and 7010 (later 7010A). I had some problems and ask for help from my distributor. They send me more than 60 mb pdf files and binary files (firmware for 7100 and some tools). There are also examples in C for 8051. Some of that you can find on website, but not all.
Loopback s/w is neded for testing module functionality. There is .doc file called "IIM7010 Training Guide". Everthing is there. If you cann't find it I can upload it.

wiznet iim7010a cgi

I'll upload all you need tonight when I come home. IIM7010 is excellent choice, but I prefer IIM7100. It's easyer to work with RS232 to ethernet module.

I live in Croatia.
