First of all, HELLO everyone,
I want to know:
how to excite different propagation modes in hfss?
and how can we find which mode or modes are excited (in HFSS or CST)?
with surface current?!

how to excite different propagation modes in hfss?

If the simulation is driven modal, you can assign modal excitation strengths under HFSS->Fields->Edit Sources

and how can we find which mode or modes are excited (in HFSS or CST)?
with surface current?!

Select a surface, plot the surface currents under HFSS->Fields->Plot Fields->J->Vector_Jsurf, and observe them for the various excitations.

Thank you for clear answer;

could you please tell me what differences are between Driven modal and Eigenmode Generally and from the propagation view?!

Eigenmode simulations give you the supported propagation modes of a given structure.

Driven modal simulations excite certain modes (which you specify) into and out of a waveguide or transmission line.
