PSU

Hi

There are numerous designs of PSU's in this forum, search for digital controled power supply and so on. I do not know how advanced it should be but check here:

123.epemag.com I think..

I am building an old design from elektor 0-40V 0-5A, +-0-40 and 0-5A or in seriall paralell mode 0-80 and 0-10A. But the design are quite old so the modern ones are perhaps a little bit cheaper. The reason I choosethis design was that I already had some of the thyristors and diodes.

Look at:

0-30 VDC STABILIZED POWER SUPPLY WITH CURRENT CONTROL 0.002-3 A
**broken link removed**

You can use very popular regulator IC LM317

And something more simple

Variable Power Supply 0–24 V, 1 A or 2 A
It realy is ideal for the small workshop
