according to my information,,, for remote controlled car-------

as shown in figure,,,the output of ht12d is given to inverter ic 7404 and then to motor driver l293d,,,,,,,,,, can somebody give me circuit diagrams for ic 7404 and l293d...... please help......

when i join the input of l293d, to out pins of 7404,, the motor starts running ,,
even if i dont give any input to the inverter gates of 7404 ......please help....

hi

when i join the input of l293d, to out pins of 7404,, the motor starts running ,,
even if i dont give any input to the inverter gates of 7404

bypass 7404 inverter. then when you signal the motor it will run. :)

what is bypassing?? can you tell me how to bypass 7404 inverter??.....
can u give me a diagram please......

sir,, according to diagram,, the data coming out from ht12d needs to be inverted using 7404 and then it is to be given to l293d,,,,
my circuit of remote controlled car is nearly complete......
so i want to know how to bypass 7404?....... please help,,,,

I guess your project is the "remote controlled land reover published in EFY magazine. If yes, why to stuggle to make things work while you get the complete Kit with PCB, all components, IC's Motors and the body of the rover with the article from Kits n spares and thier dealers all over India. Yes..in that siad project, as the L293 is used, the logic of Ht12 D needs to be inverted. But the project is well tested and assmbled by me a lot times. But yes... i bought the full kit from the said dealer.
Cheers

no sir,, i dont know about any magazine,,,, the thing is , i have completed the circuit but cannot invert the ht12d data....
so i want to know how to bypass 7404 ic......

hi

the data coming out from ht12d needs to be inverted using 7404 and then it is to be given to l293d

don't invert the data from ht12d, it will invert the behavior of motor. :-D

Hi,

I think HT12D o/p is 4 data bits. This u r going to invert and drive the motor as per my understand. Why this inversion is required for u?. L293 is a four channel driver.U want to control 4 motors or two motors with dual direction.?

i have tested motor driver ic separately,,,, according the diagram,,

i have connected all the pins of l293d except the data input pins as shown in diagram,, when i give (+) positive current to pins 2, 7, 10, 15, the motors run
but when i supply (-) negative current to the pins the motors are unaffected,,
so according to my information, the input pins of l293d need (+)voltage to run the motors.... and the data output pins of ht12d decoder ic supply (-) current,,, so to invert
this data of ht12d 7404 inverter ic is needed,,,,, so i want to know how to bypass 7404 ic...... please help..

HI,
Now u want to connect HR12D o/p pins to L293D.
In your PCB remove the 7404 IC, and short the 4i/ps which are driving from HT12D outputs and o/p pins of the respective i/ps of 7404.

this may be helpful

Since the encoder/decoder pair used here works on negative logic, the decoded signals are fed to an inverter (NOT gate) IC 74LS04. The proper (inverted) signals are then supplied to L293D. so i want to know how the signals are fed to 7404,,,,,, i have tried doing it,, but it is not working.. please help...

Hi,
If you want to run the motor, You have to give +ve to 2nd pin and -ve to 7th pin , and vice versa, connect the same configuration for the second channel .

If the inputs are driving from HT12D directly the i/ps must be 1010 or 0101 then only the motor works.
