i need some basic uart code in c for pic16f877 to pc communication...
i m using ccs compiler in mplab v5.7
 

There are sample programs for interfacing to PIC in the samples folder in the compiler you are using in C drive/Program settings folder.

Here is the code for USART simulated in MikroC..
The frequency used is 8MHz. The rest of the settings are explained along with the code.
