Hi,

I am new to embedded systems i want to write some code for the ARM porocessor but i dont know what compiler i should use and where i can find that ? If someone can help me on this i shall be very thankful.

This is Suresh here.
I would like to start ARM based project. So far I was using c51 based chips. Now I would try NXP, LPC2929 chip. Any help in the form of assembly,c coding and links to other helpful information from anybody in the forum will be thankfully acknowledged.

If you are new to 32bit, then try with simple controllers like lpc2129 or series below that. you can use keil microvision-3 and its ARM-gcc compiler with it. it also has some basic examples to start with
 

MCB2100 is good with many examples in keil3

Better download the datasheet. You will find all the details there.

And you can always search for it online. There are 100s of not 100s of sites with source code for these processors. If this is your school assignment, then you should at least do the search yourself rather than come here and ask someone to give you the answer to your assignment.

now i run the code in lpc2378, im struggling to get the startup file for rtos in lpc2378 kit
anyone plz help me!!!!
