Hi,

May i know how to convert lyt format to greber file format?

I went to output, Gerber Output and saved but all it managed to save was some text files.. quite a lot..

I tried opening the txt file with another gerber viewer software, McCad GView just to test but it said that the format is not valid..

Can i saved in gerber extension like .GBR, .GBX, or .ART. instead of txt? the text files is gerber?? Confused =(

Thanks ^_^

Post a short section of the files so we can take a look.

They are all usually text files. There are also Excellon drill files which are text. GCprevue from Graphicode is a common, free Gerber viewer.

Try renaming the extension to .gbr.

If it is a Gerber file then it does not matter what the extension is.
