Hello:
some one can help me to give information about a battery health montoring sensor for 200Ah lead acid battery which can be interfaced with Pic micro controller
Thanks

Hey buddy,
Can you please tell us in more details?. You can check the battery health by monitoring voltage, current and temp of battery terminals.

The best method I found is to use the Peukerts formula in the micro. Look at this link - **broken link removed** and wikipedia to find out more about the algorithm. The only issues I think you might have is the floating point power formula in the PIC and it will depend on your compiler. The best way to resolve it I find is to use fixed point but you will loose some accuracy in your calculation. I have use fixed point for the power function I found the code size reduce by 6K bytes.

Hello
I wana measure the internal resistance of a lead acid battery by applying an AC pulse and a DC load for few seconds but question are here
1.How much time is required for puls or AC sinal?
2 Frequency of AC signal/pulse?
3.How can we measure the change in voltage of battery terminal when the battery is connected?
4. how we calculate the batetery internal resistance and cacity remaining in battery?

Hello:
some one can help me to give information about a battery monitoring system to measure the voltage, temperature and current of 12v, 180Ah battery which can be interfaced with micro controller
Thanks
