iam trying to re-install the CADSTAR libraries onto my system, -do you know if i can do this, and where i can get these libraries from,
-i am going through the tutorial and the library is not there

Have you made sure that the library paths are set and the libraries are enabled?

thankyou , I have enbled all the library paths i can find using your way. -but i cannot find the 2N3904 symbol which is referred to in the tutorial.......i assume this must hav been in one of the librarys supplied with CADSTAR, but i guess someone has somehow deleted or disablad that library....do you know how i can get it back?

The 2N3904 is a "part" not a symbol.

It sounds like you are adding them wrongly, do not think of adding "symbols" but instead add "parts".

(A part contains the symbol, the footprint and additional information that ties them both together).

You will find it in the Transistor library under the PNP folder.

If you use the slide out library window, enter 2N2904 in the top search field then click on the binoculars it will find it for you.
