Help me interface 8051 micro with a GSM modem

hi i am sathish
i want to operate 8 relays by sending sms from my mobile and i am using gsm modem and 8051 microcontroller so can any one help about this topic


i want to know the steps to do this project

8051 interfacing

you can use the GSm modem to receive text messeage and use the text to trriger the relay connected to port of the controller. one relay will be connected to just one pin of the port so just high or low signals will trigger the relay. so when you receive the text message in the modem use the text to comapare with the predefined action if it matches with an action trigger the relay

hi joydeepsarkar87 thanks for reply can just help me in writing the c program for at least one relay iwill write the code for rest
i am using sim 300 modem
