Hi all.

I have already done a simulation of an adaptive beamforming for a linear array. I used a simple adaptive algorithm(LMS) to update the complex weights of the antennas, but i was supposed to input the angles of arrival of the desired signal and also the angle of arrival of the interferers in order to create de radiation pattern.

I would like to know if it is possible to estimate de AOA(DOA??) with any method so I could track the desired signal.
Could you please recommend me any good book for estimating AOA. I have studied the Barlett method for estimating AOA but I was supposed to introduce the actual AOA... I am confused.

Actually speaking we have to enter the angle of arrival and then estimate that what we have entered is correct through an weight updating procedure. Keep the weights intially as zeros.
