Hello,

I am new to cadence IC6. I was simulating a NMOS Common Source stage by sweeping Vgs for different values of Vds(parametrize vds). In the end I plotted Id vs Vgs for different values of Vds. Now when I go to the result browser to get graphs of different parameters (such as gmoverid, cgs,gm,gds), instead of getting continuous values for various parameters, cadence only plots one value of the parameter vs Vds.

In the old cadence 5 I was able to get all these plots by making a .scs file, save: oppoint and then adding the file to the model libraries. I have tried it in cadence 6 and not getting the continuous results that I want.

Is there anyting I am missing? I placed a tick mark in the dc analysis options in fornt of save dc oerating point, but still I am getting values of different parameters at specific points only.

Any help will be much appreciated

So if I have a transistor name NM1 in the schematic

I should write the following in the .scs file

save NM1 sigtype=all

or does the astrick in save * sigtype=all takes care of it.

NM1 wll jsut save NM1, * will save every device in the netlist
