Hi to all,
I am undergoing a training in Analog Layout.Could anyone please suggest me a project which helps me to gain a good knowledge in Analog Layout.
Thanks,
Bye

I am also looking for materials concerning Analog Layout, can u help me

Search for the book 'Art of Analog Layout' by Alan Hasting in the Analog Design & IC Layout Board.

Bye

hi,

you can try an opamp layout. this is purely analog. if you want you can go for mixed signal layout, for example a PLL or DAC/ADC. i suggest you to read books by hastings and also by christopher saint/judy saint.

regards,
vijay

Try opamp or bandgap layout. They are representative.

hi.. i;m newbie here... i just want to ask some advices or guidance about my final year project... my title project is the layout techniques design for analog vlsi cct. i dont know how to start.. the design... what i have to stress in.. my layout design is about various analog cct diff amp, op amp n current mirror... so my deliverable output is various layout design.. i have to use the ic station as my software design...
myb some one can write somthing for me..

thanks a lot...

Hi amyhamidah,

First of all you have to learn some basics of Analog layout and concept, like matching technique, sheilding etc. Also you should have to aware of the various DFM technique which depends upon your Process in which you are going to layout your design.

Well what ever is your issue you can share it here and i will try to solve it.

you can also refer alan hasting book named as art of analog layout. if you need it i can also upload it for you.

well for your quick understanding i am uploading one good book for layout .

your can use IC station(Mentor Graphics) for design of your layout, its a good tool for layout.

There are many topics where you can concentrate like the

Types of Matching technique in layout
Shielding technique
techinique to reduce antenna effect, electromigration, latchup etc.....

CMOS IC Layout: Concepts, Methodologies, and Tools by Dan Clein

this book can also help you.

Try searching on internet for IC station tutorials if you have tough time with it :|
