what is difference between vector network analyzer and scalar network analyzer?

how do you calbrited the network analyzer , any document, book, etc

network analyzer

A Vector Network Analyser is one which can measure both magnitude and phase. Scalar Network analyser measures only magnitude. you can more info about on calibration from agilent.com
