ade7758

Hi ,
I'm working on ADE 7758 interfacing LPC 2103 through SPI .I 'm able to read and write the default registers of ADE 7758.can any one suggest what are the next steps has to be gone to make the IC as AC Energy meter .

ade7758 energy

next use transducers to convert AC voltage and current to the suitable level for your ADE7758 .

ade 7758+vrms+calculations

im reading the voltage registers but how to match those values with the input voltage given.because what we are reading in these registers are RMS values..so should we calculate rms value for the inputs we give and then check them with what we read in these rms registers?
and it is given in the formulas mentioned in calibration process in datasheet that meter constant is 3200 impulses/kwh can we use this constant or will it be different for different meters.
please clarify
