Im up to order a development board from Mikroelektronika.
https://www.mikroe.com/en/tools/

129 $ + shipping costs.

My purpose is:
Gaining programming skills (i have read some e books)
Dealing with school project.

So is it a best choice to make ?
Considering fact that on the board, there are touchscreen and ... Stuff i may not need.

Also :D I need to know ...
- Where/how to start programming (atm. i know what is it like to blink LEDs using basic, C and flowcode) + compiling programming skill with school project...
- What are you suggesting for school project - topic ? (Im learning heat and manufacturing automation)
- How to utilize programming skill during earning $ in future.

Thank you !
And  every reply is welcome !!!

It's a decent development board, my Junebug LAB $49 (PICkit2 + 18F1320 tutor) will get you started and it's MPLAB compatible.

What is MPLAB compatibility. I understand what is MPLAB ...
I can use compilers output (.hex) right ?
I guess ill learn about it later.

Is it important that it is compatible with MPLAB ? Or it is something like efficient use of ICD. Or it is just easier to install code to chip ?
