Hi everybody,

I'm designing a system which wirlessly receives signals from multiple devices that measures the concentration of oxygen in the blood (pulse-oxi-meter) and then processes and display the heart rate and oxygen concentarion on a screen...

I'm having problems picking suitable red and infarad LEDs and photo diode for this application. Can you guys help me out ........

whta should be the power intensity, angle of illumination...etc???
can you guys post some part numbers so i can check the data sheets for them

Thanks in advance

adam

i would try philips lumileds and others from their range

I want to use a RED LED 660nm and IR LED 900-940nm ,,,, I have made lots of research and so far i wasn't succesful picking a pair....part of the reason is that no one really talkes about the leds, they just mention their wave length.......is that the only thing i should worry about????

some part numbers will be extremely helpful.....
