Hello friends, i also want to do my senior year project in DSP. I am doing BSc Computer Engineering. Has any body worked on FPGAs and VLSI implementation of DSP algorithms. Can i get some good ideas on these lines.
The new trends in DSP is about wavelets, now beyond wavelets came like Contourlet transform.
It is a good topic to do projects and researches. So u can proceed with some image enhancement or noise reduction or fingure print identification, vehicle identification etc with this contourlet transform and implement it in FPGA. For that first u study the Verilog or VHDL coding. So it should be a vlsi/dsp project.
I'm doing a project related to C6713 with CMOS camera ov7670. I had some problems with pins connection between them. Any suggestion for me!!!
