Hi members,
I dowloaded modelsim Linux from

I couldnt Install it since I'm not familier with linux. Could someone tell me how to install it step by step ?

That looks like the Windows version. Also, you shouldn't talk about sharing commercial software on here.

how to install modelsim in linux

For use ModelSim only:
0. Execute the Install file (install.<platform>) specific to the platform you are installing from to begin the installation process. Use the MSI interface to install the tool to the locations required.
1. Add the modeltech executables directory to your PATH (.bashrc file):

export PATH=/opt/modelsim/v6.3/bin:${PATH}
2. Set the LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable:

export LM_LICENSE_FILE=/flexlm/license.dat
export MGLS_LICENSE_FILE=${LM_LICENSE_FILE}
3. Enter the following command at the shell prompt to start ModelSim:

vsim
And read "ModelSim® SE Installation and Licensing Guide" (/modelsim/v6.3/docs/pdfdocs/modelsim_se_install.pdf)
