Hi all members,

I have simulated a paper {microstrip antenna} by using IE3D v.12.21 software.

But result isn’t exact. If it is possible for anybody please download my uploaded
file and tell me my mistake. That is including the paper and my geo file.

Best regards

Hi all again
In this post I have simulated this paper with finite ground. But result’s isn’t exact too.
[In the file 1.rar it was infinite ground].
Could anybody check these files and tell me my mistake please?
I will wait for your reply.
Best Regards.

Hi, rf-en:

I checked it for you and I don't see any problem in your model. You didn't enable AEC and you may lose a little bit in accuracy. However, it should not affect the main part. I can see the simulated data is not matching the measure data from the paper. However, it does not seem to me there is any problem in the simulation results. IE3D should be quite accurate for such a structure. I would suspect that some dimensions are not correctly documented in the paper and there is some diescrepency between the reported structure and the physical structure. Regards.

Hi,
I checked simulated your geo ,i seems the antenna is tune to near 1800MHz frequency but the parameters are very poor.i paper they will not give all the perfect values.i suggest u to go with optimization which is there in IE3D software.

Pls free to mail your techncial quires.

With Regards
