Hi all,

Im a newbie in SMPS, currently im in the mode of building the prototype for a halfbridge SMPS, can anyone list down or help me with the parts and components that i need to purchase ( bil of materials).

Thank You

First of all you should have some schematic. Design it by yourself or copy from another design. Then you are able to write a BOM. Anyway as a guide, you need atleast two MOSFET (input voltage, current etc required to select a particular one), Capacitors (two caps for the bridge and many others for remaining circuitry), a PWM IC, A ferrite core (E+I, ETD, P-Core, EC and sooooo on), ouput rectifier, Core for filter choke(input and output), a comparator IC, Voltage Ref IC, Opto Coupler (in case input/output isolation) etc etc.
This is the answer what your question asked, I think.
