Hi,
I want to learn basic of analog mixed signal design. Can you tell me from where to start (probably the topic which need to be cover to get some entry level position in AMS design). Suggest me some god books and tutorials in order of preference..

Thanks....

Added after 2 minutes:

And also suggest some basic project which helps to gain insight in designing also...

can u explain it a little further.. what exactly u wanna do?

I want to develop basic understanding in analog mixed signal design....n probably want to have my career in that....Finally to enhance it further I want some project suggestion also to gain some design experience....

try with making power suply first ....analog fundamentals should be clear , lot of circuit diagrams and tutorials are there to help you on net

Dear Friend,

I may suggest if you can invest say around 1k-2k Rs then you can set-up your own "Lab" at your home. You may include some basic electronic compononts like RLCs, Transistors, Diode (all available at very reasonable prices). Run little google and you will be rewarded with some nice working projects and some indicate PCB board size with layout (and some times total cost also..!!). That will develop your insights into what exctly happens. Try spending more time in your college lab (If you are still a student).

Surely you shall be much better off this way than most of your class-mates/collegues. (Ofcourse, I learnt my basic electronics that way only...!!!).

"Reading books starts your learning process.....practising in Lab completes it...."

All The best.

razavi's book is good for you to set up the intuition of the circuit.

MIT open course website & professor Baker's cmosedu.com are good place to start.
