Hi brothers (and sisters) out there!!
I'm new to both P-Cad and Altium Design Explorer. I'm currently considering learning one to design PCBs for embedded applications. P-Cad to me is more popular but it seems it lacks templates (eg. processors, ICs and other components)
like ,say, Proteus. I guess Altium Design Explorer has those features (embedded processors, FPGAs and other ICs) for interfacing with other components of the design (PCB). Since I'll be using ARM MCUs it will be nice to be able to work with the in the design. How good is Altium Explorer in this regard?

How is it compared with P-Cad?
Are there better tools out there which can simulate ARM MCUs and design PCBs?

Your input would be very much appreciated. Thank you all!!!

P-Cad Is no longer and will recieve no future updates so i woud not waist my time learning it.

Thx for the info. Do u have any info about Altium explorer? Does it satisfy the afore mentioned features? Or is there a more suitable tool for these kind of tasks?
