hi

in general, the noise current contribution from cascode MOS is negligible, but why? i have read Razavi's book but i don't understand yet. somebody can give me an explanation?

thanks!

Hi
because small resistor (1/gm) of cascode source and large resostor (ro) of input transistor.
noise is divided between two resistors.

Basically all of the extra noise is "shunted" across the small resistor (1/gm).
