ds32khz with ds1307

i really need help from anyone who know how to do the real time clock display using pic16f877.the project also need us to dislay "TIME OUT" when the clock time reach 4pm .I really need some one who can give me the code and also ciccuit schematic.

No one will give you the code here for free, try to sharewhat you think about the project and other will give some info.

clock display pic16f877a

What software are you using? I've done a project that sends KWH reading every certain time (every minute, hour, day, week, month) but it is written in picbasic. If you are interested in the flow of the program just PM me.

For the diagram it is best if you will do it your self but if you have a proteus it's better because it is very helpful in making the program.

nomad13,

im interested in this project, reading KWH. . .
Can you show me how do you measure power using PIC?

thanks

real time display using pic16f877a

Well actually I make it easier for me. I use an analog KWH meter then digitize the reading. The meter rotates 600 times per KW so I count 600 revolution then count it as 1Kwh. I use an optocoupler to count revolution.

if u install a proteus,u can find a real time clock sample.

energy meter 16f877 picbasic

Actually the sample was from proton picbasic but I will check it again to make sure if there was a sample. If there is I'll try to post the diagram and program.

RTC with PIC is quite easy, even with 16F84.
This one uses 16F877 with LCD display from a mobile phone.

What is mentioned above is right.
You could make a good clock around DS32KHZ and DS1307 along a PIC mcu and LCD.

you need to interface DS1302 with the 32KHz crystal along with comparator code to give a message at 0400pm.
