hello every one:

can any body answer these questions:

1) if the output of the system is greater than the input, what is the device called?give an example? where would we apply such a device in a system?

2) if the output of the system is less than the input, what is the device called? give an example? where would we apply such a device in a system?

You put the same question in three different foruns, do you know you shouldnt do that?
Reading the rules is a good idea, before posting. ..Is it a homework?

1 - Amplifiers 2- Atenuators
Simple, isnt it?
A little bit of reseach is gonna help you in finishing your homework.

yeah i know its home work, but i was not quiet sure about the answer. thats why opted for to post it on different forums.
