Corner analysis tutorial

there is no separate corner analysis..tutorial

the basic things are

fast corner ,nominal corner,slow corner

in these you will change supply voltage and temperature

say for fast ==) high supply voltage ,low temperature

slow==) low supply voltage ,high temperature
and need to analyze the circuit which is within the spec.

thank you kumard35b,

But, does this mean that the only parameters for corner analysis is supply voltage and temprature?

Also, I have another question, is there's certain models for fast/slow pMOS and nMOS within a PDK? i think it's still mysterious!!

Can you kindly refer to sparso reply in this topic **broken link removed**? Find it neat to the end of replies (third one counting from buttom of the page)

Thank you for clarification,
Ahmad,

Hi,

Actually there is PVT analysis. What is PVT? PVT means process, voltage and temperature. So, you should analyze these parameters. FYI, foundry will supplied with the process variation library. Just change the lib into FF/SS/.... .

Thanks

i want to share this link to everyone. as for my self, i dont have support from fab house. so it is imposible to me toget corner model from fab house. this link will help everyone such as student and researcher like me. you can generate your own spice model along with corner model (fast, weak, typical nMOS and pMOS). this model is quite accurate. the error is only 5% from actual foundary model as stated in their paper.

what i dont really understand and still confuse is corner process show process variation in the process. how to simulate circuit with the present of process variation? what parameters should i vary? how much should i vary? all this question up untill now i cant solve it. thanks

Really great !! but i can only generate MOSFETS (nMOS and pMOS) models..
No caps or resistors...

Anyway,
Thank you for sharing,

Regards,
Ahmad,

i've request some paper in request section about corner analysis simulation. instead of paper, i manage to get the presentation slide there. if somebody have the paper, i think it must be interesting to discuss here. the link is as follow.
