We are studying the course of Digital Communication System (3+1) Course.
Now we have to submit the project of lab of this course.
If anyone of you can give me the idea of the project or some helping material then please share that here or just mail to me:

Yopu may do CDMA or IDMA simulation with some specific channel in MATLAB.

Hi
I think u r in BS grade, so simulating common digital modulators and demodulators like ASK,M-PSK,M-QAM,M-FSK in AWGN and fading channel with MATLAB or another software is good and useful for u and your friends in futur.
 

We need a specific project which we can implement in hardware also.
So, We are thinking about it. You must give some idea about it.
 

u can implement "OFDM in matlab"
"implementation of digital phase lock loop ffor carrier recovery"
" implement the QPSKtransmitter and receiver with LMS based channel equilization in matlab"
"transmission of data b/w two PCs using cordless telephone"
ihave mentioned few projects and help can be extending regarding these projects if required

Dear sir,
I suggest you study some IEEE communication Protocol such I2C and Implement it with verilog or VHDL. Then try to burn your FPGA to Test it in real world . Practical stuff are more more better than just simulation for a LAB.

You can implement a 2-way communication system over a power-line network (PLC) using an MCU for source coding and simple modulation & an analog front-end to generate a suitable voltage & current levels.
You can also replace the MCU by a PC for simplicity.
It's a very hot topic and you can find much more application notes about it in the web.
