What's the main difference between dc_shell, dc_shell-t, dc_shell-xg-t?

Hi all,

I am new to Design Compiler.

What's the main difference with dc_shell, dc_shell-t, dc_shell-xg-t? Thanks!

dc_shell-xg

dc_shell doesn't support .ddc format whereas dc_shell-xg-t supports. thats the biggest change of all.

dc_shell xg mode

dc_shell is sh mode
dc_shell-t is in tcl mode
dc_shell-xg-t is in XG mode

Xg mode has better optimization algorithms than normal mode.

xg mode uses optimized memory management techniques that increases tool's capability and can reduce run time.
