Parameters of ABS plastic in CST

Hi,

I wonder if someone can help with information how to bring in the parameters 5and which parametrs) of ABS plastic. I want to simulae the influence of this material nearby an antenna.

abs dielectric constant

In CST, you should be able to easily create an object and assign it the electrical properties that you desire. See the help menu if you are having trouble with that.

Unfilled thermoplastic ABS has a dielectric constant of 2.8 and loss tangent of 0.01 according to a data sheet of radome properties.

Matweb lists the electrical properties of several brand names for ABS including Cycolac made by GE, Lustran made by Lanxess, and a glass-reinforced ABS named Novodur also made by Lanxess. The dielectric constants are also around 2.8 - 3.0 and loss tangents are around 0.01 to 0.02 at higher frequencies. See the links below for details:
