hspice in cadence

in cadence ic, there is spectre as well as hspice, what is the difference between the hspice in cadence and hspice from synosys?

Re: hspice in cadence

Hie,

The great difference between spectre and hspice in cedence is spectre is already on the system and the configuration of the simulator in the cadence environment is very easy also specter is a simulator almos used in RF aplications.
For other side hspice is a simulator which is used almos for all type of mixed mode aplications at a blllock level, the only relation with cadence is related to the netlist sintax that is different from spectre and cadence have the possibility to generate spice netlists compatible with hspice
