pipeline modeling

Hi guys,

I am doing a pipeline modeling using Simulink. For the sub-ADC and sub DAC I think I will have wirte a program to model them. My question is how do I call in the matlab program into simulink? I think I will have to create a sub-system and associate that program with the sub-system. How do I do this? I maybe be wrong.

Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

Re: Pipeline Modeling Doubt

hi
i think you can use the simulink only without writing codes in Matlab just try to insert the non linearity of each block , i tried these days to do that my project is a pipelined adc and some trials had succeful results ,

Pipeline Modeling Doubt

How do you insert non-linearity? Say for the sub-ADC, what block in Simulink would you use? How would you insert the non-linearity? I think by adding an offset we can model the non-linearity. But what block would u use for sub-ADC?

Pipeline Modeling Doubt

I think m-function is enough for you to model it. S function is not necesarry.
