What is the relation between CMOS, and PMOS, NMOS?

CMOS PMOS NMOS??

CMOS contains both PMOS and NMOS... search google if u wanna know more...

if u wanna know in details... please buy a textbook on digital integrated circuits...

Re: CMOS PMOS NMOS??

MOS means metal oxide semicondutor.
PMOS represents P type MOS transistor.
NMOS represents N type MOS transistor.
CMOS means Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Transistor. CMOS circuit contains PMOS transistor and NMOS transistor.

Re: CMOS PMOS NMOS??

Hello ,

that is exact :-
MOS means metal oxide semicondutor.
PMOS represents P type MOS transistor.
NMOS represents N type MOS transistor.
CMOS means Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Transistor. CMOS circuit contains PMOS transistor and NMOS transistor .

thanx

CMOS is more of a process technology term. But NMOS and PMOS are transistors. NMOS and PMOA are again divided into Enhancement type and depletion type. Most of our circuits run only Enhancement type NMOS and PMOS
