Hi,
Does anyone know, how can I draw a PY-card polygon with more than 26 points in UTD environment. If I draw several polygons, FEKO appears error messages and I'm not sure whether the calculation results are also correct.

Re: FEKO PY-card problem

Pls quote the error. I usually experience something like plate is small compared to wavelength.

Cheers,

Re: FEKO PY-card problem

Hi seqc1712,

It is true that the PY card in FEKO only allows a maximum of 26 corner points, and I guess that is the reason you have to use 5 plates. But I just ran your file with FEKO, it didn't give me the error messages and I got the results looking pretty good, though it did give warnings that "Two neighboring polygons fall together in one plane". So I think the reason you got error msg is perhaps that you are not using the latest version of FEKO 5.1. You can update your version at the member area at www.feko.info.

Another point is that it should be better if you can do the union for the 5 plates, then delete the unnecessary shared lines by simplifying the geometry. I know this can be done in CADFEKO in version 5.1 or 5.0, but I am not sure how you can do that in EditFEKO.

FYI, I also attached the *.out file below. Hope this is helpful.
