Hi,
In some product datasheet, I found they assert their product is fabricated in "advanced sub-micron pure cmos process".

I want to know what "advanced" here mean?

I am using 0.6um double poly mix process, is it advanced sub-micron process?

Thanks for help

If the product is analog intensive, "advanced" could mean with some special (advanced) features optimized for analog circuits. If it's digital intensive, it might mean with much smaller device feature size (like 65nm, 90nm, 0.13um, etc., depending on the date of the product).

for especial purposes , the process is different!

Advanced process means that some techniques are new or are optimized.
