pic18f4431 pwm

Hi,
I´m using a pic18ff4431 and follwing an900 to make a controler for an ACIM. I've programed it with Microchip's firmware to open loop operation. The problem is that i can't get any output in the PWM's. Did anyone worked with this application note to do this? maybe there's some pin that should be connected to gnd or 5v?
I used the schematic provided in the application note.
Thanks for your time.

pwm no pic18f4431

Hi,

1. Did you try to look at the source code provided by microchip?
https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/AN900.zip

2. If you have MPLAB 7.XX then you can use the Visual initializer. There you have to chose what pin and what you want to use, and this will program the PIC with the right code. play with it a bit, just to see that the PWM works for you.

if that dosnt work, then write a simple code that jsut starts the PWM, find out what you are doing wrong until you get it write, then build everything around it.

Good luck.
