When i Run: ./setup.sh in darddisk or in CDROM, there always exist some mistake in setup process. There are some sentences like this:

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/SOFTLOAD.TAR\c

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/IMAGES.DIR/FS.0\c

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/IMAGES.DIR/FS.1\c

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/IMAGES.DIR/FS.2\c

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/IMAGES.DIR/FS.3\c

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/IMAGES.DIR/FS.4\c

Missing file: /mnt/CDROM/IMAGES.DIR/FS.5\c

The ./setup.sh is not being run from the CDROM\c

Run ./setup.sh from the mounted CDROM

I dont know what's wrong? Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot

what happens is that..when u copy the files, they are not being copied properly.just coipy them once again.i did have the problem.this seems to a problem with linux itself, since unlike windows it does not coimplain if a file is not copied properly.

I knew that the copy process is not proper, but all the files are in harddisk. And other information is just something about copyright, which i saw in setup.sh. I wonder if setup.sh exist some problems? I will burned it a cd with iso format, maybe it must be a iso file in cd? Or i will try install a redhat7.3 and try the install.

Who can help me?

I installed SOC22 successfully under SUSE9.0, but i can not start it, the information showed the installation is OK and the license is OK, but it told me:the segmentation fault.

Anyone succed in starting SOC22 under SUSE9.0?

Maybe i should install another system Redhat7.3?

Best regards

Installing sucessfully doesn't mean SOC22 supporting SUSE9.0 !

Hi, I've installed SOC in Suse 9.1. All you need is to add some libs. It works well. As I can remember there was 1 1/2 year ago a discussion about this topic.

Post me if you need specific help! :D

Did you P&R a successful chip ? Just firing up SOC in SUSE9.1 successfull doesn't mean anything

I am so pleased wih you guys, i do learn much knowledge.

But the redhat7.3 is actually poor supporting to hardware, which didnot know my microsoft usb mouse yet. Is there a solution for eda and new hardware?

Thanks to all guys!

Several days before I installed SOC3.2 under Suse9.0 which can start.
I think SOC22 is too old to run under suse9.0.
