Why is bigger ferrite core much cheaper?

Hi,
Why is the E70 ferrite core much cheaper than the much smaller PM6249?

Also, do you know how to clamp the E70 core halves together?

Also, why are their 2 formers in the below...one is for one core set, one is for 2 core sets.....do they mean literally 2 pairs of core halves in one former?

Also do you understand on oage 4 of the below.....what is the winding width?
Its either 40.9mm or 32.3mm?

Notice that PM62 core is purchased per set while E70 is purchased as piece (half set), prices per set are similar. Simple E core has probably higher production yield than complex PM type.

Thanks, i confess i cant see where it says "set" or "pair" for the PM6249 link
