infrared transmitter and receiver circuit diagram

hi, I am looking for a design for an IR transmitter and receiver which controls relays at the output of the receiver. I am going to use this project for controlling on and off a lamp at the relay outputs for example. A 4 relay output will do very fine.

Thanks for the help.

Usually,to drive a relay,Use a transistor that is open or close by IR receiver.

16f84 ir remote

its so easy to built , you must use PIC 16F84 with infrared reciver and you can control the relay on - off

you can edit the programme to use more than one port for controlling

i will sent the circuit for you as fast as possible

It's of my friend. I have the Pic mentioned and ir receiver module.
I will hear from you then.

long range ir transmitter

I created a long range IR beam detector for a project you might be able to get some ideas from there

Hi
I think you can make the circuit using typical TV remote controller ( sony or toshiba) and use AVR u to receive the data so you can get many channels and it will be cheaper
and to program the micro use BASIC or C which support IR data transformation

Iam just prparing the pictures for you and the programme . please can you tell me how can i attach the pictures here in the forum ????

ir transmitter and receiver circuit diagram

This is the circuit diagram for remote controller , you can use this circuit to contorl by every thing on off f, using any remote control , press button 1 to save the code from the remote and then press button 2 to reset the circuit .

this is so simple , i have attached the Remote .Hex to programe the microcontroller PIC 16F84A , you can edit the programme to use multi buttons to control .

Any help ill be very glad to hear from you

Many thanks flexx. Your help was very much appreciated.

Plzz everybody
I'm working on an exactly simliar project. Yhe only avaliable IR reciever here is the module SM3386. I cant find the datasheet of that module anywhere, if any one can send me the datasheet. Also I need to use it without using a microcontroller. It's job will only be on and Off. Thnx alot

this project permit you to use special buttons in your remote , this will help you to use it to control as positioner for sat .

Flexx, for this circuit, can it display the read data in hex on a LCD or a 7-segment? If it could do you have the code and schematic for that? My small project is similar to this. It is an IR remote control function code reader that can read remote control function codes from ANY remote control and store it in the EEPROM and display the stored code (in Hex) on a LCD.

It has RESET and ERASE buttons where RESET is to reset the remote control and ERASE is to just erase the stored data in the EEPROM. The READ button will fetch the stored data in the EEPROM and display the signal in hex format on the LCD. EEPROM contains data transmitted from any remote control - the IR receiver will detect the signal from the Tx remote control and automatically stores it inside the EEPROM.

I'm doing something similar, do you maybe have some additional data about the circuit? I assume you don't have the commented source code? Is there any data about the algorithm - does it sample the waveform or works some other way?

If it really works with any IR remote transmitter, I would'n say the PIC decodes the data. It'd be to difficult to detect the speed, protocol, format, ... I believe the demodulated signal has to be sampled (during the learning mode) and stored in EEPROM for the comparison with the received signals.
