Hello all,
I am having trouble in doing PAE simulation. I am designing WLNA, for that i need to find power dissipation. So I am trying to do PAE simulation. Please help me.

PAE = Pout - Pin/Pdc

in order to measure power at output and power at DC, you need to add current probe at the load and DC points respectively. for voltage measurement just name the not as VX will do.

insert the equation in schematic so after simulation, you will get the values.

Just run a TRS and let the calc. the IxV product calc.

Running wild? Just trying to use as many 3LAs* as you did. Really, it's so simple ...

after insert the equation i got this msg that I_Load :word undefined. i have already put i_probe on output node.

i know its pretty complicated. you need insert the equations in Measeqn.

Hi pragash,
the equations u have shown, how do we define Pavs and Pdel?

above error is showing while inserting equation.

Pavs.png

Pavs is input power. see above pic.

Pdel.png

Pdel is power delivered or output power.
