[SOLVED] Error in creating a new library in Cadence

Hi
I want to create a new library in cadence for designing a flip-flop circuit. but I encounter this error depicted at attached figure. how to overcome this error?

Maybe you dont have the write permission in that path or your cds.lib file is write protected .. please check the both are ok..

Thanks for your reply. How to change the permission of a folder? Thanks
 

It may be root's folder so change the location where you can save your folder or change the permission settings of cds.lib if it is because of cdslib.

chmod command ( see for the details ) will change the permissions as root but I don't recommend it.Instead, create your library somewhere and add this link into your cds.lib file.
