100nF capacitor charged up to 30V will damage LED array?

I thought that was the way the discussion was going on a number of fronts as regards capacitors,?

They didn't said, that was a way to arrest ESD.

This circuit looks like a current controlled convertor.

Why do you need a capacitor of 100nf across the load and what is the PWM frequency?

In a current controlled convertor, the capacitor will make more power waste on the MOSFET driving LEDs.
