okay i know this question would have been in a programming related discussion forum. but still i want to ask it.

which programming language was used to develop windows and which was used to develop the latest version winXP??

and i want no VC++ Vs VB wars :D

Hi,
The original windows, the windows 1.0 was mostely assembly but a lot of C. But XP as far as I know is almost entirely written in CPP and C in very few parts in Assembly.

Judging from the number of GOTO's I'd say it was written in integer Basic.

Multiple choice question.
How many windows has Bill Gates house got?
A: 95
B: 98
C: 2000

What does he use on his windows?
A: Blinds
