Is there any free SPI serial flash programmer under windows?
Or much better...an opensourced project for it?

Should support the M25PXX series from ST or compatible...

Okay...does this software requires the programmer connected for starting up?

Just see a dialog box to choose which lpt port to use with all buttons dimmed on win2k.


Just seems to be a bloody old win95 application (o;

Nowing ST it could be a win9x program, you can get round it by using something like Direct I/O www.direct-io.com to give you access to the parallel port in NT

Check UPA Universal Programmer Analyser from h**p://www.elrasoft.com/. They have free Lite version. Schematic (simple connection to LPT) is provided together with program.

Nope...only supports small SPI memories (o;
Also the other driver doesn't work...

Might be quicker if I just invest some minutes and write the SPI programming from scratch under Cygwin (o;
