stepper drive using l297 /l298

i am using bipolar stepper motor it is possible to run the motor at 300 to 350 rpm using l297 / l298 drive.

it depends on the motor parameters..

if u r using 400 steps per revolution and keep step angle as 1.8 degree then u can get that much rpm.
 
how to keep 400 steps per revolution i cant understand, in 1.8 deg stepper motor per revolution it takes only 200 steps (360/1.8)=200

my stepper motor rating is 1.8deg , 200 steps per revolution, bipolar, 1.2nm
